HAPPY NEW YEAR!
January is almost here and has a way of asking us to begin again—but it doesn’t have to mean big resolutions or pressure to reinvent yourself overnight. This month, I’m inviting you into something softer. Instead of rigid goals, consider setting a few small, short-term intentions at the beginning of the month—tiny, supportive steps that feel doable in your body. These gentle wins build momentum without overwhelming your nervous system, creating change that actually lasts.
LivingBARE isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about remembering who you were before the layers, the conditioning, the coping, and the constant holding it all together. It’s the practice of gently peeling back what no longer serves so you can live from truth, presence, and self-trust. Not perfection. Not fixing. Just honesty—starting in the body.
So many of us are moving through life holding our breath, bracing, surviving. Our nervous systems learned how to protect us, and for that I am deeply grateful. But over time, protection can quietly turn into limitation. This is where somatic breathwork and Human Design come in. Breathwork helps the body release what it’s been carrying—stress, emotion, stored experiences—so you can feel safe enough to soften. Human Design offers language and permission to honor how you are uniquely wired to move through the world. Together, they support a return to alignment that is felt, not forced.
LivingBARE is choosing embodiment over autopilot. It’s noticing where you’re still holding on, where you’ve been overriding yourself, and allowing space for something more honest to emerge. You don’t have to rush this. You don’t have to get it “right.” January is simply an invitation to listen—to your breath, your body, and your inner authority.
A gentle reflection for you today:
Where in your life are you still holding your breath?
I’m so honored to walk this path with you and deeply grateful for this community. I can’t wait to see what unfolds as we take this year, one grounded, intentional step at a time.
I would love to hear from you! I read and respond to all e-mails.
Live and Love BARE,
Ashlie
